Please join Recovery Cafe San Jose as we take you inside some of the healing moments in our members' lives. Inspiring stories of the success of our members will be shared through their words, art, poetry, and songs from our Closing the Gap Chorus.
We will be presenting our Bridge Builder Award to Mike Blach of Blach Construction. Mike's community contributions are extensive, and his sense of social justice infuses all that he does. When Mike first learned about RCSJ, he said, "This place will save lives" - a statement that has been echoed by many of members.
Recovery Cafe San Jose is a healing community for those traumatized by addiction, homelessness, and mental health challenges. Located in the heart of downtown San Jose, RCSJ is a place where anyone seeking recovery can come for meals, support groups, classes, community resources, and social activities in a sober and supportive environment.
Since opening in April 2014 RCSJ has supported many hundreds of individuals in their recovery, helping them reach such goals as family reunification, and achieving the stability to gain - and maintain - housing and employment.
Breakfast is free, but we will be asking for donations at the event. Please use the form, above, to RSVP.
